We polled the support community on words we should stop using - and there is a CLEAR loser.
We ran the polls. You voted. And we’ve got a very official, extremely scientific breakdown of which support buzzwords are thriving—and which ones need to take a long vacation. 🏖️
The top words support leaders don’t hate:
Proactive Support: Unanimous approval with 100% positive votes.
Scalability: Also received 100% positive votes, indicating strong favorability.
Ping You: Well-received with 82% positive votes.
Friction: Had 75% positive votes, reflecting a favorable view.

Mixed Feelings
Omnichannel: Garnered 71% positive votes, showing a majority in favor.
Customer-Centric: Received 63% positive votes, indicating moderate approval.
AI-Powered: Split opinions with 50% positive and 50% maybe votes.
Put a Pin in It: Evenly divided with 50% positive and 50% maybe votes.

Maybe…?
Seamless Experience: Received 63% maybe votes, suggesting uncertainty about its usage.
Digital Transformation: Had 67% maybe votes, indicating mixed feelings.

Buzzword Burnout
Unpack That: Less favored with only 42% positive votes.
Game-Changer: Received 43% positive votes, showing a decline in popularity.
Double Click: Least favored with just 10% positive votes.

Next we’re polling the CX community for words that don’t mean what we think they mean.
